The Art of Building 

The Art of Building photography competition is an international showcase for the very best digital photography of the built environment. It is open to both professional and amateur photographers 

The competition is run by the Chartered Institute of Building and celebrates the creativity of the industry, the passion of the people who work within it, and the impact their work has on those who make use of the final construction

The 2019 competition timeline 

• 28 October 2019  - Open for entry
• 25 November 2019 – Closed for entry
• 16 December 2019 – Finalists announced, public vote opens
• 10 January 2019  -  Public vote closes
• 27 January 2020 – Winners Announced
